Nancy Watts taught women in Mongolia to quilt to make an income. Her husband John took photos to capture the pride and joy in the smiles of these women. John and Mary’s biggest challenges were the language barrier, limited electricity, and using the metric system. They used silk scraps from China to make beautiful quilted projects. Nancy’s teaching was a phenomenal donation of time.
