LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER

Joel Grey performs "If You Could See Her"

  • Aired: 02/15/2013
  • 03:01
  • Expires: 02/15/2016
  • Rating: TV-PG
Showing off one of Kander & Ebb's signature motifs - the ability to write songs that both charm and unsettle - Joel Grey's magnificent performance of a song he originated and made famous in the Broadway and film versions of "Cabaret" seems like a funny little ditty... until the final punch at the end. Musical host Rob Fisher provides a bit of backstage history to place the song in context.
